Designed as a simple bedside table, scooped can fit in almost anywhere. The magnetic top allows for ease of transport and assembly.
Crafted with Red Elm the table is built for weight resistances and strong joinery.

Inspiration | Echo Coffee table
The CNC is table is constructed with either ash, white oak, walnut, cherry or maple. The table top hovers over the dome legs, the table is connected through the stretchers .
Objective: Create a Non-CNC furniture piece, inspired by the Echo Coffee table, that brings simplicity into the bedroom

Legs
Since each leg is 1/4 of a tapered cylinder a paper joint was used to keep the legs consistent and optimize time in the wood shop.
Paper and wood glue is placed between the 4 pieces of wood and clamped together. Ensuring the pieces stay together on the lathe but split easily once shaped.
Top
Each corner was hand carved to create a 1/4 inch offset of the legs to create a hover effect when assembled.
